    Minutes from last meeting: Carol moved, Dave seconded to accept them, motion passed.
    
    Treasurer’s report : We have currently $3009.66 in our checking (still owe $1000 to trail fund)

    Karen Carpenter: Carpenter insurance is now free of farmer’s insurance with lots of options to choose from...
    
    Carol Ferguson: Since Jacob left the library, She is working to fill that position.
    
    Marc Kroetch: Fresh Air Ebikes is starting up after St. Patrick’s Day, 3 days per week.
    
    Shynne Price: Spirit Lake Elementary is going great, got through flu season (hopefully), and just ended the second 2nd trimester with conferences coming up.
    
    Lynn Pasloe: Lakeland School District is promoting unity in the district with nice shirts. They are working hard on giving out information for the Levy vote, May 20th. April 30th Town hall meeting is scheduled at Spirit Lake Elementary…
    
    Mona Stafford C The Community Center has a new person for their nutrition program, and are hoping for more use as a community center and not just senior meals.
    
    The Spirit Lake Community Coalition is now the event committee for the community, working with Innovia which is doing an all day workshop on improving our small communities March 17th in Spokane, open to all --8-4 $50. Mardi Gras tonight –the group is looking forward to getting funds to do more… There is room for 60, 32 are signed up… The 19th of March Innovia is coming to train the SLCC in Spirit Lake, as they are working on obtaining a $30000 grant. That will be 11-3 on 19th. All are welcome to attend the training session The SLCC now has an office upstairs in the Mercantile.
    
    Dave Krise Visitor guide is still waiting for the ads, has samples to show the size of ads. They will also go on a retractable ad, used at events.
    
    Max and Kristi Liese: Spirit Lake Presbyterian will host the Historical Society’s talk by Shaun Deller on the early history of our area at 2 pm on March 15th. It’s a free talk, with display of his arts and crafts, and focusing on David Thompson, one of the earliest white explorers of this region.
    
    Leonard Morse: Spirit Lake Baptist Church is getting ready to do Memorial Day Weekend in the Park
    
    Kelly ? The Pickleball court in the current skate/basketball court is waiting for a grant for paddles and balls. Two more courts are to be added next to the BB court, if some funding is secured…
    
    Bonnie Morse Brickel Creek is having its normal slow time but the winter fest, and motorcycle ride last weekend were good for them. They like to promote local events.
    
    Charlene Phipps is supportive of local businesses. She is involved with the Innovia process.
    
    Mandi Conway: Tomorrow is a Sushi pairing meal with a chef from Post Falls. The comedy nights have been successful but they’re trying to keep it more family friendly PG15. Comedy nights are the
    
    3rd Wednesday until April. Next month will be a spring menu pairing meal, and the last in May will pair bacon and whiskey. The live music is fully scheduled for the summer. It is their 5 year anniversary Memorial weekend. Thursday nights --burger and pint for $20 will continue for the next month or so.
    
    Karen Shupp Silver Squirrel is working on her garden and healing center retreat, and will have a spring gardening workshop soon, to introduce Permaculture, organic gardening to new gardeners…
    
    Colin Conway—He is working on an improved Chamber website with database tied in to do updates. It also can do a text search for topics available anywhere on the website. Adjourned 8:45
